Today, we announced the official launch of our foundation, The Papa John’s Foundation for Building Community at Bennett College in Greensboro, North Carolina.

This Foundation is about more than giving dollars, it’s about cultivating partnerships that empower our communities as they work to overcome barriers to civility and unity. We’re thrilled to kick off this commitment and support better lives and better community for our team members, franchisees and customers across the country.

The Papa John’s Foundation awarded grants to Bennett College, the Boys & Girls Clubs of America and the Association of American Colleges and Universities. In January, we shared our commitment to Bennett College through a $500,000 grant from the Foundation to support #StandwithBennett. We are so proud to have been part of the #StandWithBennett movement, and look forward to a continued partnership with the institution throughout the year.

As part of our national partnership with Boys & Girls Clubs of America, we will support the organization's Youth of the Year program which honors and celebrates the nation’s most inspiring teens. In collaboration with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, we look forward to developing an annual volunteer day at local Boys & Girls clubs for our franchisee team members, many who are already active, engaged members of their community.

An independent advisory group will help guide the Foundation, consisting of seven nationally recognized research, media and community engagement professionals. Through both our Foundation and our corporate and franchise operations, we’re committed to doing better for the communities we serve.
