Today we’re kicking off National Entrepreneurship Month with a BIG announcement!

Ever dream of starting your own business? Or know some inspiring kids who are always going above and beyond? We’re inviting future leaders of tomorrow to share their brightest ideas with Shaq and Papa Johns for a chance to turn their dreams into reality!

Now through December 5th, young go-getters across the United States have a golden opportunity thanks to Shaquille O’Neal and Papa Johns. Kids, like the ones Shaq met with recently in Las Vegas at a local Boys & Girls Club, are invited to share their brilliant ideas for small businesses and community improvement projects with us for a chance to pocket a $5,000 grant to kickstart their dreams.

In Las Vegas, Shaq heard kids’ fresh perspectives and enthusiasm for bringing their big ideas to life. One shared his dream to bring a community center to underserved communities; one shared her goal to become a clothing designer and hair stylist; and another was looking to expand his wire & gemstone jewelry making business.

Though the ideas varied, they all had a few inspiring things in common: the kids wanted to start businesses that brought their communities together, expanded upon their passions, and that gave proceeds to good causes. Of course, Shaq particularly loved hearing one kid’s idea to build a local basketball center with proceeds that would specifically go towards aiding climate change efforts. The possibilities are endless and these ideas are just the beginning! What would your business idea be?

Papa Johns also brought back the legendary Shaq-a-Roni pizza, available now, born from their collaboration with the one and only Shaquille O'Neal. This pizza is “extra” special, with extra cheese and extra pepperoni on every extra-large slice. Plus, for every Shaq-a-Roni sold, Papa Johns is donating one dollar to The Papa John's Foundation for Building Community. It's all about supporting local community partners as they strive for equality, fairness, respect, and opportunity for all. So, if you know a kid (or are one yourself) or the family that has helped them reach for the moon, share the link to enter now!
