People throughout the Southeast are still piecing their lives back together after hurricanes Helene and Milton, which caused staggering destruction and unprecedented floods. As the storms struck, Papa Johns team members began planning how to help.

Working together, our Quality Control Centers (QCCs), franchisees, corporate restaurants and our Restaurant Support Centers in Atlanta and Louisville rallied to send help where it was needed most — ultimately serving more than 12,000 pizzas to local residents.

Our QCC team in North Carolina brought the mobile kitchen to Asheville with products supplied by our QCC in Georgia. In addition, the North Carolina QCC coordinated and delivered donations from generous partners.

In addition, the Papa Johns Foundation donated $10,000 to World Central Kitchen, a global nonprofit that provides meals on the frontlines of communities in crisis.

Soon after, as Hurricane Milton approached Florida, evacuees were sheltered at Atlanta Motor Speedway, where they received a special delivery of free pizzas coordinated by our Operations team. “Whatever we can do to help, our teams are willing to go and do it,” said Jimmy Jones, Director of Operations. “It’s about the people. We have to let the community know we care.”
